Reading Time: < 1 minute

Eating cotton candy in the rain,
Colors blend as they melt away,
Under skies grey, our sweet refrain.

Beneath a canopy we choose to stay,
Laughing as sugary threads escape,
Colors blend as they melt away.

Drops mingle with the candy’s shape,
A carousel of pink and blue,
Laughing as sugary threads escape.

Each gust of wind, each view anew,
Memories spun like floss so fine,
A carousel of pink and blue.

Whispers of childhood, yours and mine,
Echoes of laughter, timeless, divine,
Memories spun like floss so fine.

Echoes of laughter, timeless, divine,
Eating cotton candy in the rain,
Under skies grey, our sweet refrain,
Colors blend as they melt away.
